Andy Halliday is convinced that Nicolas Raskin has played his last game for the club.

The 25-year-old midfielder was linked with a move away even before his impressive World Cup performance.

Interest in Raskin has heightened after his significant contribution to Belgium's quarter-final run.

Halliday said on Open Goal: "Aye, he's played his last game for Rangers.

"I think he would've left anyway, but after a good World Cup he'll have better options."

Halliday also compared Raskin to Celtic's Arne Engels, for whom Nottingham Forest reportedly bid £25million.

He said: "I think Raskin's a better player than Engels.

"Nottingham Forest bid £25million for Engels.

"I don't think Rangers would get £25million for Raskin, but you're trying to push it as much as you possibly can."

Derek Ferguson believes the Premier League is the most likely destination for Raskin, with Hull City reportedly interested.

He said: "I think Premier League because it's a great platform for him and he's showed up well.

"It was a stepping stone, but Rangers supporters shouldn't take that as an insult because that happens."
