Barry Ferguson has urged Rangers to sign Vaclav Cerny if he becomes available this summer.
The former Rangers captain described a return to Ibrox for the Czech Republic international as a "no-brainer."
Cerny impressed during his 2024/25 loan spell, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.
Ferguson, writing in the Daily Record, said: "I worked with him during my time in charge and it’s a transfer that should have happened last summer.
"I’d take him in a heartbeat. I liked everything about Vash."

He praised the 28-year-old's mentality and match-winning ability, saying: "He’s got a bit about him. "When things weren’t going right, he wasn’t happy. He had a bit of anger in him, which I really like.
"The thing about Cerny is, he’s a game-changer. His numbers were really good at Rangers.
"When we got him on it, he was on fire for us."
Ferguson also highlighted the advantage of Cerny’s familiarity with the club. He said, "And the beauty of getting someone like Vash back is that he knows the club already, he understands it.
