West Region officials can be excused for feeling more than a little anxious over the outcomes of two of this weekend's Scottish Junior Cup ties.
Davie Greig's Blantyre Vics face Bathgate Thistle at Creamery Park while Beith host John Queen's Cumbernauld United down at Bellsdale.
And if either ends in a stalemate - meaning a replay next Saturday afternoon - it will totally scupper plans for the Euroscot Eng Sectional League Cup final between Blantyre and Cumbernauld, due to be played at Larkhall's Gasworks Park on Sunday, November 2 (kick-off 2pm).
