Spain last night lost their Davis Cup crown after Radek Stepanek guided the Czech Republic to a stunning triumph in Prague.
The hosts 2-1 lead was wiped out by David Ferrer's win over Tomas Berdych.
But Stepanek won the decisive match against Nicolas Almagro to hand the Czechs their first global crown as an independent nation.
