BRAEHEAD CLAN were unable to park the bus last night - just a matter of minutes after it broke down.
Heading down to face Sheffield Steelers in a crucial Elite League title battle, the Scottish side's team coach broke down en route to the ICE Sheffield arena.
Eventually arriving over an hour late, the game faced-off 55 minutes behind schedule in front of a small but packed Steelers crowd as Clan attempted to secure at least a point to pull them closer to the championship title.
However, it was not to be a result worth waiting for as they instead slumped to a disappointing 2-0 defeat courtesy of goals from Tyler Mosienko and Robert Dowd.
It means the Steelers cut Braehead's advantage at the top of the table to just three points with the English cracks holding a game in hand.
Next up for Ryan Finnerty's Clan is an away trip to Nottingham Panthers this Saturday in what is another pivotal match in their pursuit of the Elite League title.
