Christian Taylor produced the second longest jump in history to win triple jump gold at the World Championships in Beijing.
The American snatched gold from Cuba's Pedro Pablo Pichardo with the penultimate jump of the competition, soaring out to 18.20 metres at the Bird's Nest stadium.
It was the closest any athlete has come to breaking Jonathan Edwards' 20-year-old world record of 18.29m.
