Ryan Jack last night savagely trolled Aberdeen supporters after Rangers sealed their spot in the Viaplay Cup.

The midfielder scored the equaliser at Hampden before Kemar Roofe's extra-time winner to dump Aberdeen out in the second semi-final of the weekend.

Jack, 30, spent his entire youth career at Pittodrie and played 199 times for Aberdeen before his move to Ibrox in 2017.

The Scotland cap even captained the Pittodrie side before his Ibrox switch and has endured a difficult relationship with Aberdeen fans ever since.

After hitting the equaliser with a low deflected drive, Jack first irked Aberdeen fans as he pointed to the Rangers badge in his celebration.

And last night we would go further as he shared an image of Aberdeen supporters at Hampden with his name across the big stage.

He captioned the image: "Thanks for coming!" He partnered the caption with a 'shushing' emoji.

Bojan Miovski had opened the scoring for Aberdeen in the first half to give Jim Goodwin's side a narrow lead at the break.

Jack levelled things with a deflected effort into the bottom corner after around an hour.

Anthony Stewart was shown a straight red card for Aberdeen in stoppage time for a rash challenge on Fashion Sakala.

And four minutes into extra-time, Roofe slotted home the winner for the Glasgow side.

The win sets up a match against Celtic in the Viaplay Cup final for Rangers next month.
