A cafe in Glasgow city centre has announced closure "after many happy years".
Staff at Cafe Nero on Union Street have shared the news via a sign in the window.
It reads: "Sadly, after many happy years here, this Cafe Nero has had to close due to circumstances beyond our control.
"We have loved being here and would like to thank you for being a wonderful customer - it has always been a privilege to serve you."
The note then reminded coffee lovers that the nearest chain is on Gordon Street.
