A man has died after being struck by a train near Paisley Gilmour Street station.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 9pm last night.
ScotRail confirmed on social media that services were disrupted between Glasgow Central and Ayr, Ardrossan and Largs following the incident.
British Transport Police have since confirmed a man in his 30s has died as a result.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called at 8.50pm on Thursday to Paisley Gilmour station following a report of a casualty on the tracks.
"Sadly a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious".
