An 80-year-old man has been missing from Hamilton since Saturday morning. 

Thomas Brian Porteous, who goes by Brian, was last seen at 10am on March 21 at Woodburn Court. 

He is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with white hair.

When last seen he was wearing a khaki green parka style coat with a hood and navy trousers.

The vulnerable man is known to have connections with the Hamilton and Motherwell areas. 

Concern is growing for his wellbeing and police are appealing for any information about his whereabouts. 

Inspector Martin McKendrick from Lanarkshire Division said: “As time goes by we are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Brian who is vulnerable.

“Our Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace him, however I would ask Brian to please get in touch or if anyone has any information as the whereabouts of Brian to contact Police.”
