CCTV footage has been released as police investigate a serious assault that took place at the Bellmill Hotel on Hamilton Road, Bellshill.
A 24-year-old was seriously injured in the attack at around 7.50pm on December 29, 2019.
After extensive investigations into the Hamilton Road incident, officers have now released CCTV footage of a man they believe could assist their enquiries.

While the footage quality is low, police are hopeful someone will recognise him.
He is described as being white, of a medium build and around 40-years-old. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a brown jacket with a dark shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3388 of Sunday 29 December 2019 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
