Police, however, said that they only have a report of a break-in at a care home which happened in the early hours of this morning - hours after pictures were taken off cops searching the area.
The force confirmed that it is believed some cash was taken during the raid.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We received a report of a break-in at a care home on Myreside Street, Glasgow, around 2.40 am on Wednesday, June 17.
"It's believed a quantity of cash was stolen and enquiries are ongoing."
