A GLASGOW road has been shut down due to emergency water works.
Engineers have rushed to Berryknowes Road at the junction with Paisley Road West with the left turn slip closed.
The latter is also reduced to one lane eastbound at the spot. A diversion is in place for motorists.

It is not yet known how long it will take to complete the works, which have been confirmed by Glasgow City Council.
A council spokesman said: "Due to emergency water works the left turn slip from Berryknowes Road onto Paisley Road West is closed.
"In addition Paisley Road West is reduced to one lane eastbound at this junction.
"Date and time for completion of the works has still to be confirmed."
