Glasgow Times: Smug's mural of Thaney and her son Mungo, at the corner of Glasgow's High Street, conveys a message about finding refuge in the city

With work ranging from a tribute to Billy Connolly to murals on the Clutha bar, the trail takes around three hours to complte.

Travellers confirmed the work helped rejuvenate and revitilise the city's streets.

One reviewer wrote: "Whereas Glasgow has made significant progress in improving the look of the city centre, it is a fact that much of the fringes are rather drab and rundown. It is a splendid initiative therefore that various artists have adorned some of the buildings with a series of large and very attractive murals."
