A man has been hospitalised with a serious head injury following a disturbance on Saturday night.
The 25-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but his injuries are no longer considered life-threatening.
Emergency services received reports of a disturbance near Norfolk Street around 10pm last night.
Officers have launched a probe into the incident.
A police helicopter was also seen in the area last night, as the road was closed off by police.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a disturbance near Norfolk Street, at the junction with Oxford Street and South Portland Street, Glasgow, around 10pm on Saturday, 29 August.
"A 25-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a serious head injury that is no longer believed to be life threatening.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
