Sergeant Lee McCall, Whitburn Police Station, said: "Reece, who lives in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, was on a visit to West Calder and when he left the address last seen he didn't say where he was going.
"We don't believe he has any money with him but he does have a mobile phone. Despite efforts to trace him he hasn't been seen since yesterday afternoon and there are growing concerns for his welfare.
"He is only 14-years-old, so we need to know where he is and if he is ok. I would ask that he make contact with police as soon as possible. We'd also appeal to friends who have maybe heard from him or know where he is to get in touch."
Anyone with information should contact the police at 101, quoting incident number 2235 of October 17, 2020.
