Ann Davie, depute chief executive - education, people and business, at East Dunbartonshire Council, said: "We are fully supportive of Public Health at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and assist with Test and Protect when required.
"When a positive case is identified, schools work with parents and carers to minimise the disruption to learning for those pupils who require to self-isolate.
"Robust control measures are in place at all our schools and there does not appear to be evidence of transmission within the school in this case."
