There is growing concern for the wellbeing of a man who has been missing for a week after a car crash in Paisley.

David Roach, 32, has not been seen since a collision on Stabley Road around 9.20am on February 27.

It is believed he was involved in the crash but left the scene before police arrived.

He has not been seen since and it is unknown if he was injured or if he became unwell later.

The Johnstone man is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build with brown hair.

When last seen he was clean-shaven and wearing a dark coloured t-shirt and shorts.

Officers are appealing for help to trace his whereabouts.

Inspector Harkin, at Mill Street Police Station, said: "We urgently need to know that David is okay. While we believe he walked away from the crash, it is not known if he was injured and could have become unwell later.

"We'd ask anyone who has seen, or spoken to David in the past week, or who knows of his current whereabouts, to contact officers as soon as possible. If David sees this appeal then we'd also urge him to let us know that he is safe."

Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1092 of 27 February 2021.
