A MAN has been rushed to hospital after being attacked in broad daylight in Shettleston.
Police have launched a probe into the serious assault on the 40-year-old on Pettigrew Street at around 12.45pm today.
The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medics describe his condition as stable.

Officers have locked down sections of the street and have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries, which are at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 12.45pm on Tuesday, March 16, we received a report of a serious assault in Pettigrew Street in Glasgow.
“A 40-year-old man suffered serious injury and was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
“Enquires are ongoing.”
