THE body of a man was found in Glasgow and police are treating the death as suspicious. 

The 45-year-old was found at a home in the city's Drumchapel yesterday evening.

A post-mortem is yet to take place but police said his death is currently being treated as suspicious. 

The force currently have specialist officers at the scene investigating the death.

A police spokeswoman said: "At around 5.55pm on Thursday, April 22, officers were called to a property in Jedworth Road, Glasgow.

"Officers attended and a 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"An investigation is ongoing and a post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however, in meantime the death is being treated as suspicious.
