A MAN missing from Paisley may have been spotted asking for directions as fears grow for his safety. 

A man matching the description of Phu Cu Cao, who has been missing from Christie Street since Friday, April 30, was seen lost in Glasgow Road, Paisley the same day.

Glasgow Times:

The 34-year-old Vietnamese national was previously described by police as having limited knowledge of the Renfrewshire town or Glasgow. 

He is known to travel, police said, as they urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

The 34-year-old is described as five feet and seven inches tall, with short black hair.

Glasgow Times:

He was last seen wearing a grey baseball cap, a black zipper fleece, black jogging bottoms and blue and grey Reebok trainers. He may also have a red puffa jacket with him.

Sergeant Kane, of Paisley Police Station, said: "We want to make sure Phu Cu Cao is safe and well and would encourage him, or anyone who knows where he is, to get in touch with officers at Paisley Police Station via 101.

"We would be keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen him or if you may have spoken to him on Glasgow Road last Friday to get in touch.

"Please quote reference number 2612 of April 30, 2021 when calling 101 with any information."
