THIS is the moment a would-be crook was foiled in his attempts to beak into a popular West End eatery.
Images shared with the Glasgow Times show the man trying to force his way inside Bank Street, on Bank Street, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
In the footage, the prowler tries to get into the restaurant before giving up and walking away.
It comes as it has emerged police have launched a probe into a string of break-ins and attempted break-ins in the area at the time.
Officers says they are looking into several incidents on Bank Street, Lynedoch Street, Gibson Street, Otago Street and Woodlands Road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers in Glasgow are investigating five reported break-ins or attempted break-ins in the early hours of Tuesday, June 8, which took place in the Bank Street, Lynedoch Street, Gibson Street, Otago Street and Woodlands Road areas
"Enquiries into the incidents remain ongoing at this time."
