A MAJOR road in Glasgow city centre has reopened following a fire.
The blaze tore through several buildings on High Street, including the Old College Bar, on May 4.
Two weeks later, councillors were informed that 223 to 229 High Street would be torn down in the interest of public safety.
The fire damaged building has now been demolished, and High Street is now fully open to all traffic.

More than 40 firefighters worked through the night to fight the fire which engulfed the historic building in May.
No-one was injured.
