MUSIC fans across the country have reacted with excitement as the first acts of next year's TRNSMT music festival were confirmed this morning.
Paolo Nutini, The Strokes, and Lewis Capaldi are among the initial line-up set to play at the Glasgow Green event taking place between July 8 and 10.

Festival bosses announced the news earlier today with fans rushing to social media to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote: "Paolo is back. Confirmation that 2022 is going to be a good year."
Another said: "What a line-up! Bring on 2022."

A third added: "Take. My. Money."
The announcement comes just days after the Glasgow music festival wrapped its fourth edition of the showpiece.
Thousands of revellers descended on the East End as the three-day event got underway at the weekend.
One excited fan wrote: "Paolo Nutini headlining TRNSMT seems like one of these things that's talked about but would never actually happen. Dreamy."
A second person added: "This is going to be beautiful"
Tickets for next year's show will go on sale at 9am on Friday with early bird passes available from 9am tomorrow.
