There’s some spudtacular news today for hungry shoppers as TV chef James Martin teams up with Albert Bartlett to launch a new eatery in Braehead shopping centre.

SpudULike will serve baked potatoes topped with imaginative fillings to take the humble tattie to a whole new level.

James said: "I loved Spudulike as a child and jumped at the chance to get involved with it.

“For me it is all about the food and the ingredients, as well as supplying great dishes at affordable prices.

“We’ve got a new menu, a new look and I'm so excited about it.

“We’ve got something for every member of the family and I can’t wait to welcome you in to SpudULike at Braehead!”

Exciting choices of toppings include Peri-Peri Chicken Wings, Bad Boy Hot Dog, BBQ Pork Ribs, Chickpea Daal, Butter Chicken and Scottish Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese.

The new SpudULike can be found in the upper all at Braehead shopping centre.

Braehead marketing manager, David Lyon said: “James has taken the baked potato into the 21st century with his fabulous menu of toppings.

“Visitors to Braehead will be very impressed with not only the new menu, but the complete re-brand and re-launch of the restaurant.

“It’s just another example of the wide variety of stores and eateries we are attracting to Braehead.”
