A MOTORIST has been fined after police spotted him driving his vehicle with a fogged-up windscreen.
The van driver was stopped in Airdrie this morning. He was issued a ticket and made to clear his windscreen before heading off.
Road Policing Scotland is warning drivers around the country to make sure their windscreens are clear before starting their journey.

In a post on Twitter, they wrote: "Please take an extra minute or two to make sure your windscreen is clear before setting off.
"One van driver decided to risk it in Airdrie this morning and the first car he could clearly see on the road was LanarkshireRP.
"Stopped, ticket issued, windscreen cleared. #dontriskit."
