As part of a series of ten paintings of Glasgow legends, Rogue-one promises to share photos of the creations over the coming weeks.

A Facebook post said: "'There's been a murder!' Painting of Taggart, Mark McManus.

"This is one of a collection of paintings of Glasgow legends that I spraypainted in the basement of The Old Toll Bar Glasgow a couple of years ago.

"I forgot about posting these. About 10 in total. This is the first and I will continue to post the rest week by week for you all."

Rogue-one has murals decorated across Glasgow, and recently painted an astronaut in Creswell Lane in the West End, with the caption 'Choose Earth'.

McManus played Jim Taggart from 1983 until his death in 1994. The series revolved around a team of detectives at Maryhill CID, and the titular character was known for his old school ways and the line "there's been a murder!"
