People took to Twitter to share their experiences with vaccination centres.

Ryan Vance said: "Spent all of 0 hours, 0 minutes in a queue for my booster at Glasgow Central Mosque.

"If you’ve been fretting over reports that it was a three hour wait yesterday, well, it was, but that’s not necessarily the case all of the time!"

Linda Mullin said: "Went to Easterhouse club for a booster for my severely autistic daughter and although she had appointment the wait is over 2 hours. Dozens given same appointment time and they can't cope! It's shocking."
