A 36-YEAR-OLD man was left with injuries to his face and body after he was assaulted and robbed in the Saracen area. 

The incident occurred on Panmure Street at around 9.40pm on Tuesday, December 28. 

The suspects approached the victim, assaulted him and stole his electric scooter.

Officers are keen to trace two men in connection with the incident. 

One is described as a white male with a slim build and around 6ft tall. 

He has light brown hair and was wearing a black bubble jacket and dark tracksuit bottoms.

The second male is described as white with a stocky build and approximately 6ft 2in tall. 

He had an unkempt appearance and was wearing a dark beanie hat, dark clothing and a colourful scarf.

Detective Constable Fiona MacKenzie of Greater Glasgow Robbery Unit said: "This was a very frightening experience for the victim and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident. 

"I urge anyone who saw either of the males matching the description to get in touch. 

"Also, anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area around the time of the incident or anyone with any information which could assist our investigation should contact police via 101, quoting incident number 3044 of 28 December, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
