A BODY of a man was pulled from the River Clyde earlier today.
He was recovered at Pointhouse Place, close to the Riverside Museum in Glasgow's West End at around 9.30am yesterday.
Police Scotland has confirmed that he has been formally identified as missing David Fletcher, 71, from Giffnock in East Renfrewshire.

Mr Fletcher had been missing since Thursday, December 9 and was last seen in the city centre.
His family have been informed and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
