Staff from an Asda supermarket in Glasgow have raised thousands of pounds for breast cancer charities.

Colleagues from the Toryglen store have been fundraising all year to raise a whopping £4000 for the Asda Tickled Pink campaign, which funds breast cancer research, life-changing support, and vital awareness about the disease via charities Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!

On Saturday, October 8, employees donned pink outfits and hosted a singing show at the store with community champion Elizabeth Arbuckle and her colleagues’ husband belting out various tunes for the customers.

Elizabeth said: “It was absolutely amazing to raise so much for such a good cause.

“Considering times are tough at the moment, our customers were incredibly generous and supportive of the campaign.

“As much as it is vital to raise funds for Tickled Pink, it’s also incredibly important to raise awareness as much as possible, it was great to be able to bring everyone together.”
