FILMING crews have been spotted at a major hotel in Glasgow.

Several vans were parked outside the DoubleTree by Hilton on Cambridge Street this morning. 

They had 'Film and Television Unit Vehicle' dubbed on them.

Filming for season two of Screw is taking place inside the hotel, which has just celebrated its 30th birthday.

Yellow cones had also been placed on the road, with "no parking" signs on them.

We reported last month that filming for the series began in the city.

The STV production for Channel 4 follows the story of staff and inmates at a busy men's prison. 

Series two, featuring Derry Girls actress Jamie Lee O'Donnell and His Dark Materials star Leigh Henry, will pick up from the tragic events of last year's season finale. 

Faraz Ayub, Stephen Wight, Ron Donachie, and Laura Checkley will also be returning. 

Alongside series one regulars, a list of additional cast members including Barnaby Kay (Wallander, The Five), Leo Gregory (Green Street, Out of Control) and Lee Ingleby (The A Word, The Serpent Queen) has been announced.

We reported yesterday that a West End pub was renamed due to filming for Screw.

Lock 27 in the city's Anniesland told punters that they will be called Oak & Hound for a day while film crews take over the venue.

The Crow Road pub posted on Facebook: "The pub has been renamed! But only for a day.

"Lock 27 has become the Oak & Hound for the filming of the TV series Screw 2.

"Just in case anyone was getting worried!"
