A MANHUNT is underway for the driver of a car who struck a man in Merchant City.
Emergency services were called to High Street at around 3.30pm today following a report of a man being hit by a car.
The 36-year-old pedestrian was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and his condition is not known.

Officers are now trying to trace the driver of the car who fled the scene before police arrived.
An investigation is underway to establish what happened.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Around 3.30pm on Saturday, September 3, police were called to a report of a man struck by a car on High Street, Glasgow.
"Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and trace the driver who made off before police attended.
"The 36-year-old pedestrian has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
