A crash has caused delays on a section of the M8 close to Glasgow Airport this morning.
Shortly before 6.30am, Traffic Scotland warned drivers that lane three was blocked in the Eastbound direction at junction 27 of the motorway causing traffic to slow on approach.

In a later update, it was advised that commuters are currently facing delays of around 20 minutes as a result of the incident with a 10 minute delay for those approaching from the A737.
There has been no further information provided regarding the nature of the crash.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
