A beloved UK burger restaurant has applied for permission to open its first venue in Glasgow.
Smacks Hamburgers submitted the bid to take over a former charity shop unit on George Street.
The chain currently has locations in Thornton Heath, Croydon, Tooting, Slough and more.
If successful, the new spot would be the first Scottish site of Smacks.

The proposal is to put up signage on the building, which would primarily be an eat-in venue with minimal takeaway.
Inside, 14 tables are planned.
Glasgow City Council's planning bosses are considering the application and a decision is expected by Monday, April 15.
