Ex-Rangers kid Billy Gilmour admits he is not a fan of the song Chelsea fans have adapted for him since he began playing in the first-team at Stamford Bridge.

Gilmour has burst onto the scene this season under Frank Lampard, playing nine times including two recent man of the match standout performances against Liverpool and Everton respectively.

To the tune of Edwyn Collins' Girl Like You, Blues fans sing: "You know I've never seen a player like Billy Gilmour, he's the Scottish Iniesta and he's five foot four."

However Gilmour, 18, took umbrage with the height claims - and says he's not having the lyrics. "I'm five foot seven, but, come on!" he told BBC Sport. "I'm not having it. I'm not five foot four."

Gilmour has been praised by the likes of Ian Wright, Alan Shearer and Roy Keane in recent times and was at the centre of a Scotland argument. Some fans and pundits advocated for the youngster to get a full call-up from manager Steve Clarke while others claimed it was too early for the midfielder.

He was, indeed, eventually called up for Scot Gemmill's under-21s side.
