KRIS BOYD was not dropped by Sky Sports for their coverage of St Mirren vs Celtic.
John Collins and James McFadden accompanied Eilidh Barbour at the SMISA stadium for tonight’s broadcast.

A petition has racked up more than 2000 signatures, calling for Boyd to not be included in the broadcast of Celtic fixtures.
His comments during some matches shown on Sky have annoyed elements of the Parkhead support, in a season where Rangers hold a commanding lead in the Premiership.

According to the Daily Record, his absence from Sky’s coverage this evening has nothing to do with complaints from Celtic fans.
Boyd is still working for Sky this evening on their Gillette Soccer Special broadcast and does not feature on every game Sky cover in Scotland.
