IT didn't take much convincing for John Lundstram to join Rangers. But that didn't stop Oli McBurnie doing his best to make the move a reality by nagging his former team-mate every day.
Lundstram decided against another season with Sheffield United in the English top-flight as he made the switch to Ibrox this week.
The Liverpudlian, 27, penned a three-year deal with Rangers, and Steven Gerrard hailed the move claiming it would add "steel and presence" to the midfield ranks.

And the transfer swoop was given the seal of approval by Gers fan McBurnie who backed Lundstram to be a success in Glasgow.
Revealing his small role in convincing Lundstram to join the Light Blues, McBurnie told Four Lads Had a Dream: "He had mentioned the interest to me a while back and I’ve been persuading him every day since, that’s how highly I rate him.
"To be fair he didn’t need much persuasion because I think as soon as he spoke to the manger and realised how big the club was, he was sold.
John Lundstram has been speaking for the first time as a Rangers player – and he can’t wait to build on his already extensive football knowledge.

"A top player. John can play anywhere in midfield. He’s a midfield engine, excellent with both feet and has a great range of passing with an eye for a goal as well."
McBurnie also admitted he's already asked Lundstram to send him a Rangers shirt as he spoke to the Rangers blog site.
The striker added: "I’ve already been on him to send me a shirt!
"Also told him the next time we have a weekend up get the spare bed ready for me!"
