The bumper price tag on Lewis Ferguson's head this summer has been set by Bologna.

The Scotland international is attracting huge interest from clubs across Europe, none more so than four from Serie A.

The 24-year-old moved to Italy's top flight in 2022 after leaving Aberdeen for around £3m.

The likes of Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Inter have been touted as holding an interest in the son of Derek, who of course played for Rangers.

It's now believed Ferguson is valued at £22m by Bologna, who will undoubtedly be looking to cash in on their top midfielder in the near future.

His agent Bill McMurdo, speaking to the Daily Mail, said: "I have arranged to meet with Bologna in the summer to discuss Lewis's future at that time.

"Lewis and I are aware of the interest from other clubs and he will move in the future when the time is right for both him and Bologna.

"Lewis wants to concentrate on Bologna possibly qualifying for Europe. Then he will channel all his energies for Scotland in Germany if he is fortunate enough to make the squad."

Meanwhile, Neil McCann has noted a key difference between Rangers and Celtic in the Premiership title race.

The former Ibrox winger believes the Gers faithful are showing more patience with their team at this moment, while those of a green and white persuasion across the city are not.

Philippe Clement's side last night went level of points with the Hoops at the top of the table. They defeated Ross County 3-1 on home soil thanks to a double from Cyriel Dessers and one from John Souttar.

Had Rangers scored another goal then they would've leapfrogged Celtic at the summit of the league.
