CRUEL crooks ransacked an East End golf club during an early morning raid.

Cops have launched a probe after Sandyhills, in Mount Vernon, was broken into at around 1am on Saturday. 

Officers were called to the club later that morning when, it's understood, damage was discovered. It's not known if the robbers made-off with anything.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Officers were called to the report of a break-in at the Sandyhills Golf Club in Glasgow at around 6.41am on Saturday, 5 December, 2020. Enquiries into the matter are underway.

"Anyone who may have been in the area of the golf club in the early hours of Saturday morning is asked to call Police Scotland if they saw or heard anything which might help in this enquiry."
