A fitness brand has opened a new pop-up store within a major Glasgow department store.
After a successful run in Edinburgh, Fallain Fitness will move into the menswear department of John Lewis in the city's Buchanan Galleries for one week.
Named after the Gaelic word for ‘healthy’, Fallain is the brainchild of siblings Philip and Andrea Tod, who are excited to be opening the shop ahead of Christmas.

Through the initiative the Great British Pop-Up, which aims to help promote independent businesses through pop-ups, Philip and Andrea are looking forward to bringing the brand to a 'whole new audience' after achieving success online.
Philip said: “We are extremely proud to be running a pop-up shop for the second time in John Lewis during the store’s busiest time of the year.
"The first pop-up shop in Edinburgh was a huge success that allowed us to directly engage with customers and gain their valuable feedback.
“To date, the majority of our sales are through our own website and also Amazon - where our t-shirts are among the Top 150 best sellers in the UK, but being in John Lewis takes our brand to a whole new audience.
“We are also delighted to be showcasing our latest products for the first time - the Tonn Collection, which includes three brand-new T-shirt designs.
“It’s a great opportunity to pick up some stylish additions to your wardrobe or Christmas gifts for the fitness fan in your life!”
The pair launched the brand in 2021 during the Covid pandemic and have gone from strength to strength.
Their aim was to fill a gap in the sportswear market and provide good-quality products with a Scottish twist.

Andrea said: “Launching a new business during the pandemic was challenging, but we are both driven by our passion for fitness and design.
“We wanted to come up with a brand that stood out and looked as good in the gym as it does in the street and the feedback has been great!
“Taking Fallain Fitness into Glasgow’s John Lewis during Christmas is like a dream come true and we can’t wait to showcase our range of clothing!”
The Fallain Fitness pop-up will be open at John Lewis from December 5 to 12.
