A POPULAR landmark in the city's West End has been damaged.
Police officers were called to Fossil Grove in Victoria Park during the weekend following reports of young people causing a disturbance.
Accounts on social media claim the historic museum and tourist attraction was damaged and is in a state of disarray.
A Facebook post read: "Did anybody notice any people vandalizing the Fossil Grove yesterday?
"Police are on the case, CCTV is being checked. Any eye-witness accounts are gratefully received."

Police Scotland has confirmed that an investigation is underway.
A force spokesperson said: "Around 4.15pm on Saturday, May 14, police were called to Victoria Park, Glasgow to a report of youths causing a disturbance at Fossil Grove.
"Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing."
